ReReTour 2018 Concerts, June 9 & 10, 2018

The '76 Re2Tour Ensemble gave two concerts in London & Bray under the direction of Victor Gavenda. The first was on Saturday afternoon, June 9, 2018, at Southwark Cathedral in London, where the '76 Tour gave a performance on July 1, 1976. The second concert, on Sunday afternoon, June 10, 2010, was at Saint Michael's Church in Bray, a small ancient church at which the '76 Tour performed its very first concert on June 21, 1976. Both concerts were performed before large and appreciative audiences. And, quite remarkably, one attendee of the concert in Bray had also attended the '76 Tour's inaugural concert 42 years before!

The Re2Tour Ensemble would like to again extend its deepest thanks to Victor Gavenda, former '76 Tour geologist and now music director extraordinaire, for his patience, care, and enthusiasm in turning, over the course of only three days, a collection of individuals with creaky memories and even creakier voices into a cohesive ensemble who came surprisingly close to the musical standards of 1976 and, much more importantly, who felt the bonds created by the music 42 years before reform with surprising and profound strength.
